I once had an ear infection so bad none of the prescribed medicans worked, it was two weeks of some of the worst pain of my life, finally the ENT decided to vacuum the ear and use powder and it cleared up. Still do not know why they waited so long to vacuum out the ear. Anyway ended up getting tinnitus from it now can't fall asleep without a fan or some sort of noise, otherwise I get a horrible ringing in my ear. Best of luck and hope it clears soon. Also get the ENT to vacuum it out if you can.
