Sigh, they finally start to get closer then that stupid skill acts up to push them apart again. I’ve never liked skills that cause the MC’s emotions to flatten or be diminished. It seems like an easy way to keep the MC from making any meaningful social or relationship progress because “insert skill doing stuff”. The MC’s personality was already cold and anti-social enough without needing a skill getting in the way too, lol. The romance tag is the only reason I’m hanging in there after almost 350 chapters. There are plenty of decent action stories out there, but good action and romance? Not so much. I really enjoy the authors Samsara Online novel, and the way the author developed relationships there, I‘m hoping we see more substantial and consistent relationship development here as well.
