This is one of those chapters I wish were endless.

I feel like the lying about not knowing where Amy is will come back to bite him somehow, but otherwise this conversation went very well. Hopefully her parents extend an olive branch in time for the funeral. I’m glad he went - hearing it all from someone they associate with being in a position of power is more reassuring

lucas is fast becoming my favorit character, it was always Harry for me, now I cant pick anymore, every male character you write is more perfect than the other , and they grow even more beautifully with time. 😍

Empathy comes naturally to most Doctors,wish most human beings had natural empathy. Problems may decrease and better relationships may become the norm.

Lucas can tell the story.....but should not ask to see Amy. Hope thus lie will nor strike back.
