Tom and Lucy and their moments are one of the reasons I treasure this book. Their character portrayal seems so real and closer to home with all their imperfections, doubts and unreasonable behaviours being captured in such a way that they seem more human than out worldly. Thanks dear Author for this book.
I was wondering when Candy was going to reappear. I look forward to seeing more of her character development. On another note, I think now would be the best time to be with each other, Lucy. You and Lucas may think it’s not necessary but boy oh boy we like to lie to ourselves. Once in the presence of the other, we realize how necessary it is to help each other process grief and start the healing process. It won’t happen overnight, but with a concerted effort to move forward, you’ll see progress on the horizon. Instead of tackling things on your own, having someone in your corner even if they’re just actively listening will help elevate a lot of stress and anxiety that’ll build up during the process.
