I believe the mention of a house here is figurative, not necessarily this particular house.
Webnovel...on a couch, Lagos-Nigeria
Familiar face of Harry's mom meaning she might have seen pictures of her in their family's album or could be she looked a lot like Candace?
At a point in time when stories are rife with extreme, x rated and violently bothersome contents mostly striving at luring the average reader to grab a copy of a story to read this Author, Ash Knight, brings in a touch of realness to her stories. I have been privileged to have read up to 90% of her books here on Webnovel and she has been consistent in her story telling and character development. Her writing style has significantly improved and her imagination is beyond comprehension as one wonders how she thinks up such thought provoking and out worldly stories that would ensure that any reader would be roped in and leaves panting for more. With this new story revolving around Vampires, Werewolves and then Mermaids, she had once again succeeded in introducing a new genre never thought before to really hang the stake up higher. One is left to wonder how Ash culd pull this off...but she not only did but got me enchanted for life and deeply immersed in the hitherto unknown world of Mermaids. I do implore readers to just take up this work of art and thank me later as you will be surprised at the treasures that lay within...
Woah!
couldn't have said it any better
Awww! Desmond
Wow! Vincent, here stamping your claim, Your Governess?
I wish Lucy could open up now to tell her family how much they hurt and failed her. For me, they failed her in all ramifications. Either they believed she had So much strength in her to have overcome her ordeals or that they are plainly negligent...I choose the latter. A seventeen year old going through all that, yet giving off all these signs ...not eating much, going into seclusions, not interested in social activities to the extent that she hated men and at her young age. No! They all failed her and the mom had to open her mouth to accuse her of being insensitive? Lucy's mom messed up big time though it isn't something communication, love and forgjveness wouldn't cure. Once again thank you dear Author
You are doing well author...I'm sorry if people have not found this gem. The plot is totally different form other similar stories and it hits right home. I love the fact that the ML's character is so real and what you can observe in real life. Inasmuch as I understand Tinsley's fears and insecurities, it would be awesome to have them having real conversations like matured adults. She should see that he's making efforts even though he's too possessive. Well done for this good work
Missbehaviour...I want to state again and again that you are one h*ll of a writer. Your writing style amazes me and the editing is superb. My changing upon the Prince's Valet gave me a peek into your style. This book is like a real life lecture on Love, family, friendship, lifestyles, compromises and so on. It is an eye opener. It makes one reflect and want to do better. It touches on so many often neglected topics and th e maturity in handling them. It gives me a peek to how you are and the kind of person you are. God bless you for gifting us with this rare opportunity. Everything here is balanced. Tom is really a very matured guy and the love he has for Lucy is the stuff we all hope for. Thank you deary
Yes, I kinda understood Lucy's POV. Janet, as a mother could have been more careful with her words. It seems she normally allowed her emotions to override her thinking. Something of that magnitude happened to your daughter...and you never for once tried to know whether she's fully ok. You believe her when she says she's ok...she puts her all into her work and you never for once got bothered with the fact that the Jaime incident might have rewired her personality. Right now you are blowing off steam and accusing her of always being insensitive...Jeez! That 'always' is the thing for me, there is a hidden meaning there, people don't just talk. In a fit of anger, we normally spout things we have believed all along. I believe you are a very insensitive mother and in a way you moulded Lucy into that. Try not to add as though you didn't mean it but just apologize and ensure your daughter opens up to tell you what she really feels
Tom and Lucy and their moments are one of the reasons I treasure this book. Their character portrayal seems so real and closer to home with all their imperfections, doubts and unreasonable behaviours being captured in such a way that they seem more human than out worldly. Thanks dear Author for this book.
