Hi MB, thanks for writing these books, they are life savers for me. I however want to let you know my opinion about the storyline.... Maybe I don't understand how you want us, readers, to view it. Elise isn't a victim here. Max and Em are because Em suffered for what she knows nothing of and Max had to marry Elise out of compulsion. Good thing he fell in love afterwards. He is not really to be blamed for how he felt at the beginning of their relationship and I very much appreciate that he is trying to make up for what happened then. I really don't see Elise as the victim.
