It's fine as is. While it's true Yasuo could have logically ended the fight in seconds like Todoroki, I like the way you did it. It let Momo have a chance to contribute while also not making Yasuo irrelevant. It's also true that simply avoiding the fight was the smart way to do things if they were pretending it was real.
I expected Momo to directly ask Yasuo how easily he could beat the heroes, he'd answer extremely easily, then she'd concede that the best plan is to have him nuke the heroes into oblivion. She'd prepare backups if he wasn't able to beat them so easily, just flying away being plan B, she'd probably trap the area and other stuff, and that would be that. He'd take them out in a few seconds, he could do it in many, many ways. They'd both get praise while Yaoyorozu would be awarded MVP. Despite being critical to instant victory, Yasuo would lose points due to resisting the most practical and straightforward plans out of a desire to include Yaoyorozu. For ignoring her own ego, and pushing the obvious strategies, Yaoyorozu would earn the most praise. She'd probably feel down about it and a bit self-conscious, particularly for receiving what she would think was undue praise. Yasuo would be a bit frustrated that Momo both didn't like that he wouldn't just solo the heroes and feeling down about being unneeded, putting some short-lived tension into their acquaintance. Yasuo would think more practically about doing things himself when it would solve things more simply and Momo would show that while she has confidence it is fragile and untested, becoming more uncertain and shy yet bubbly like in canon.
I liked how you handled the battle, though I still find deku annoying even now. I honestly dislike almost everything about deku, the only thing I respect and what makes him bearable is the fact that he is willing to go through the agonizing pain of breaking his bones like his arms, legs and even fingers over and over again to reach his goal but what's about it. And honestly even that has its annoying points as if he had such drive and courage, why didnt he at least work out and learn martial arts, even if he can't be a pro hero he could at least become a policeman, firefighter or join the army... it's just so frustrating!đ¤đ¤Ź
