I’m just saying at this point why should he hide flying raijin from Hiruzen. He gave him the scroll, he put him on the council and is grooming him as a Hokage candidate as he is already a s rank ninja. I really like your idea of how the jutsu works and the other applications of it but it is plainly foolish at this point for fujin to hide something that would actively help boost his image in his biggest supporters eyes especially when he could use this to scam more benefits from Hiruzen while he is still alive and in power as we don’t know if fujin will intervene with his death
Hmm I must say I'm not really a fan of him still hiding his powers so much! Why hide flying thunder god when you know that others can't do anything to you even if they know you know the jutsu? I mean everyone knew that Minato had learned FTG but they still couldn't do anything to him! And as for him worrying wheather hiruzen or tsunade would not back him up when he is targeted openly by the akatsuki and others kages is purely stupid! Why would they not back him up? He is literally their best ninja if he comes clean of his abilities! They would do anything to protect him, not to mention he wouldn't even need protection! I seriously don't think he can be killed by anyone at this point if fujins goal is only to escape! This all just feels like a way to make sure fujin won't easily defeat his enemies even though he totally has the power to do so.....think about this a bit author if you read this comment (though it's too long lol) I really love this novel, make sure to not reduce its top tier quality!!
