In my opinion, Might Guy is already an S-rank ninja. He is much stronger than Kakashi. The reason why Guy and Kakashi are considered equal is that Guy never opened the supreme gate in friendly sparring, while Kakashi actively used the Sharingan. Most likely, Fujin is weaker than Gayu at the moment. But Guy's main weakness is his low intelligence. For this reason, Fujin will be able to come up with tactics against him.
To start off by excluding the characters made for this fic from listing as fleshed out is both unfair and unreasonable. Why just ignore mc's squad who are all fleshed out and we spent like 100 chapters with, and on top of that also excluding the majority of characters in this fic simply because they aren't from the original story? It's absurd to argue that any story lacks fleshed out characters but preface your argument by generally excluding most of the cast. Not to mention that mc is specifically characterized as being asocial, spending most if his time either alone and on the occasion he does interact with someone it's overwhelmingly part of a small circle of og characters or someone who's made for this fic, thus mc has only met a handful of the original cast.Putting that aside I disagree with the premise of the argument itself, I'd say Ay is also fleshed out and arguably Rasa and Inoki (I forget how to spell it) as well. Next you claim that Naruto and Guy are caricature ish, but how so? Naruto has yet to gain the depth of maturity and struggle he obtained in his teenage years. Should I stress the fact that he has yet to learn any of the many lessons nor forged bonds that he would go on to make during the course of the series or are you trying to say that there's prexistent parts of Naruto's personality that aren't being represented here, in which case please specify. As for Guy, I genuinely don't notice any discrepancies between his portrayal here and in the og series. He loves his students, he's enthusiastic about self improvement, generally friendly, humble and, doesn't hide away from shame. What could be missing, he's just how I remembered him? As far as I can tell it's just as you said, they are "the same as manga" meaning they're consistent with their canon portrayal. This makes sense since neither have experienced anything that would fundamentally change who they are as people from the original yet."Danzo has been made extremely stupid" that's just flagrantly false to the point that in order to make such a statement you either don't have a solid grasp on what intelligence even is as a concept or your simply lying but I'm going to presume you earnestly meant that statement for the sake of argument. What I'm guessing you're referring to is the fact that many of Danzo's schemes regarding Fujin have fallen apart but calling him "extremely stupid" for this is incredibly unfair to him to the point of absurdity. Fujin intentionally hid himself from the Root's scooting process (something no normal child could nor would do especially since getting into the anbu is seen as a privilege and Konoha is a war-torn nationalistic military state overflowing with propaganda) whilst launching himself ahead of his peers in terms of power through constant intense training. On top of that Fujin having meta knowledge and a mind that's far more mature than his physical age allows him to know vast amounts of information that his status as some nobody orphan would never let him know as even the hokage is completely unaware of facts about the setting and characters (the Akasuki and Madara's revival as prime examples) and then be able to plan for those events literal decades in advance. The wealth of information that Fujin represents is so large and so valuable in this world that NO antagonist who isn't almost if not literally omniscient would be able to effectively plan around, only brute force intervention would realistically stop him (which Fujin knows and has been constantly doing everything in his power to keep from happening). Danzo gathers what information he can by using his available resources but even that is necessarily flawed as when someone gets info they have to apply it to their greater understanding of the situation at large to make a plan and no matter how much spying is done things like Konoha's rhetoric being totally ineffective on Fujin, his caution against the Root, his knowledge of the strongest kekkai genkai, the Akasuki'
At this point why doesn't Fujin just go search for Tsunade himself? He's an extremely skilled sensor and pairing that with his speed and shadow clones he can cover ground far faster than Jiraiya. Tsunade returning to the village doesn't actually give her a reason to teach Fujin specifically, so lacking a motion isn't really a counter to this.
