does danzo and hokage really think itachi can single handidly kill his entire clan. both skill and emotionally, wouldn't they have doubts? youve done a good job of showing how vast and storng uchia clan is and how they have such a large clan of diverse people. i find it hard to see things going as simply as naruto described it. just making sure no one escapes would take a whole anbu team. and no one in uchia have some unique jutsu that the village thinks would let them get away or survive? and wouldn't the hokage or danzo want some young uchia babies to breed? if the village doesnt know about the coup why wouldnt they raise uchia babies in the whitwashed reality? also couldn't tobi leak the fact that the village executed an entire clan to the other clan heads to dusrupt konoha and make it weak?

Author I can understand you want Miko to die at the very least make Fujin befriend Sasuke. By saying Miko was his friend. So Fujin can get Uchicha Clan's techniques and resources via Sasuke and leverage his way through getting Naruto by making himself brother figure he can have more politically. After all Konaha's political cycle is bound by nepotism. By which he can get access to forbidden jutsus which will useful for combating the Alien and also creating his own group like root instead of being emotionless could be replaced by Fanaticism to Fujin and these group can tossed around these aliens by sealing them in Shinigami's stomach.
