Why are they just letting random people enter the game to fight for humanities survival? I mean I assume random since they attack each other. They should at least screen who enters. Also, who are these NPCs? Where do they come from? Also where is the game taking place? Another dimension? Is that where the exotic beasts originate from? None of this was explained.

I read the synopsis and it made no sense. It's like comparing a pillow case on my pillow with a pillowcase in space, they are similar but there is no connection between them at all except being pillowcases. The latter option being less absurd but absurd nonetheless, how would a pillowcase get in space? That's the feeling the synopsis gave me.
