I am really impressed by this story, although there are some small parts that I don't like (no story is perfect), does it detract from your work, regarding the strength of the MC when it increases? At the moment he is basically a nerfied superman if you see it from the perspective of the comics, which version of Superman did you inspire for the powers of the mc?
You know, you could have made Shang Chi's introduction as mc's master in some other way because no matter how i see it, i dont think there's anyway for him to manhandle someone like Superman even if he's still only learning how to use his powers. Well, i have not read the comics about Shang Chi, so idk how strong he is but i don't think he's on a level that can escape Superman's senses/perception and no matter how superior his martial arts and chi control is, how can he even make Superman feel pain anyway? Maybe by bypassing the field around him, idk?? Again, i dont know much about Shang Chi so no hardcore fans dissing me in replies please.

Man if you want mc to train martial arts and chi can't you just do training montage like bruce wayne way and not use force plot. I mean you made Shang-chi better as someone that can go pound per pound with the hulk. Mc should just pack his bags at this point cuz the world is a very dangerous place if shang-chi can do this. Imagine what his dad can do now? But regardless, its your fic. You can do anything you want with it. For me, its just cringe đŹ worthy that you force plot like this
getting on same thinking as some fellow daoist on this chapter comment, this ch doesn't make sense, correct me if I'm wrong, if Andy can lift comfortably 1500 ton it mean that his muscles and bones are strongly enought to endure the pressure of this weight, so how the sang chi cold make him bend down? let's tone down since it's a weak point joint but shang-chi would need a kick with 1000 ton at minimum being optimistic, I think u overpowered shang chi
hahahaha heck ... even with his perception of "almost the speed of light" and his "super reflections", Shang-Chi hits him .. hahaha Shang-Chi must be an "old ancestor of a wuxia cultivation clan". He will hit him and tell him that he has eyes and cannot see Mount Tai. that he has a death wish .. and that he is a frog at the bottom of a wellđđđ
Never would have thought you would bring in Shang-chi considering I figured he lived in China, but now that I think on it he's probably the best option available on Earth right now. Only problem is the continuity is kind of confusing. I thought you were using a MCU base with some extra characters that were cut out like the mutants and fantastic four, but now it's not really clear. Shang-chi would be young at this point in the timeline in MCU and comics, not an old man. I hope you do an info sheet showing some basic background info of your AU. Which versions of which groups and so forth. Otherwise it's going to get very confusing.
Sorry to say this chapter was very badly done. The MC in this chapter is very dimwitted and too weak to be a magically enhanced Superman. You tried to give him a super kung-fu master, but you did this in the most unbelievable and irrational method that probably killed the story. I was very hopeful about this story so it's a tragic development.
nice chapter thx for writing it nice going with the wise old man teaching as for the dream the mc was told by the accient one that the guy living in the realm of light was a ok dude . then the mc gets weird dreams about a place of light with a dude's voice and does not make the connection seems abit off in reasoning. mc did not seem like an idiot ?
I remember i once read in wiki fandom of marvel that Chi can be used in similar ways to magic & mystic arts ... If Chi is the personal energy of the hree energies of sorcerers (Universal energy ,Dimensional Energy , Personal Energy) , then this can be true .... And since the MC is very strong and talented , he can have lots of Chi ,which he can use to do mystic arts , ... unlike normal sorcerers who need to draw energy from the Vishnati dimension or some other dimension to do their magic , since normal humans don't havemuch personal energy (chi) , and training chi is very hard and doesn't bring good results to untalented people ....
