I think if you rewrote the bottom half of this first chapter as SHOW and not tell it would be much more powerful. Its good though

olay so they have super senses but cant track anything with their eyes past 1 kilometer. Also 2 times the speed of light, AND people saw this and were happy. They were in no shape or form destroyed from the after effects of this travel speed. okay
