I like how the main character is multiple realms ahead of his disciples and knows more about cultivation. Other novels make the MC seem like a scam artist, being barely a couple of subrealms in front of his disciples :(

Obligatory young master, add little to nothing tournament, and chance upon rare/legendary treasure. The many tropes of xanxia. Feels like I'm forgetting something else hmmm. Truck-kun? hey author. have you read My Senior Brother is Too Steady? if not, i advise you to read it and try to make your mc a little bit like that. what i mean by that is the mc being prepared for the countless cliche bullsht and teaching what to do and not to do in a cultivation world just like how he taught his junior sister. try and do that to your mc and his student
