Hmm, this chapter was just disappointing. First, he lets his guard down despite previous scenes specifically stating that he has killer instincts now. Then the fight scene just feels like a cheesy cultivation novel or anime fight where if she could block already shot bullets with super speed he'd be right screwed from the start. Then he has at least two separate points where he says 'I better start getting more serious than' which again leans into the cheesy cultivator bs fighting scenes. Overall it just felt like a much lower quality than the rest of the story so far.
