This author must be an adept at reading the mtl novels. In a single line the mc is a baby of narcissa and in the next he gets adopted and almost get hit by a freaking truck.

There's a problem with the amount of power he displayed. Underage magic can be versatile but not powerful. It would have been much more realistic if mc was apparated to a roof nearby or something similar.

I think this chapter could be redone I found it very hard to understand what was going on one moment to the next the pacing felt very rushed.
