interesting concept, never read about a level in a dungeon having sentient monsters? inhabitants ?
aren't they supposed to be remnants of the people that fled there when the world collapsed it wouldn't be weird for beastmen / tribes and humans to have evolved differently the further they got into the dungeon ^_^
