I gotta say the hypocrisy in this chapter is a bit hard to take in. Obviously this is just a novel so any act of violence, no matter how disturbing it may be, can take place without much issue. But trying to make Kana seem righteous about killing a bunch of innocent children, when it is not even necessary, leaves a bad taste. Again I am not against the violence shown in novels if it is acknowledged as violence and not some righteous mandate for the greater good when it clearly isn't. If Kana was killing these children simply because of her hate for humans than I would just leave it at that and have no problem, but the author is trying to make it seen as though killing innocent people will play some significant role in her trying to change the world for the better.
Yeah it’s a bit much. Especially because there is absolutely no reason to murder all these people. You can’t tell me these 5 godlike beings couldn’t find a way inside the city undetected, or at least without murdering innocent civilians. Makes it pretty hard to keep rooting for kana whole-heartedly :-/
