I really appreciate how you emphasize that cultivation isn't the entirety of these people's lives. Especially how you had Ruth change from what seemed like a single minded cultivator to someone who wants to explore other things. I never understand MCs that do nothing but try and gain strength but do nothing else. Even if they claim they're trying to protect friends and family they never spend time with them so what's the point?
