magic knight Will be more useful because he has lot int stat already. with dual weapon it reduce his off hand damage since staff have low meler atk. the author are deadpan want to be swordartonline style Hero. the MC use TWO sword not sword staff. staff with lot melee damage Will criple his int base atk unless author create a unlogistic epic staff which both have high melee and high int, that Will tuin the story and balance of the logic.

A weapons master should be able to use guns and any other weapon or it would not be called a weapons master. Hopefully, Jack coincidentally runs into a powerful weapons master NPC and that persons power makes him want to choose that elite class.
