god lerrin needs to hear her. not just listen to her words but realize he can be a good leader bring peace and still serve a man who instills those values and boundaries in his people if he just allows suhle to teach him true love and help heal the hole left by his familys deaths. he doesnt have to forgive reth but he should for the good of his people at least work with him in ernest without revenge tainting his efforts to bring his people to their best not worst
Wow you need to really need to understand what she said Lerrin… winning the war no matter what doesnt make you a good leader or king… why did hour people feel oppressed and what can be done to solve it that waht you should think about… I also think the wolves were misguided and misinformed about Reths rule and his intentions…
And there you have it, Lerrin. It’s not the same to call on the devil than to see him come. You’ve been blindsided by your father’s misguidance and misconceptions about ruling, and submitting. Your people were not undermined, and much less oppressed. They were not banished; not really. In your faulty attempt at ruling YOU chose for your people to separate. And trying to be a “different” ruler than Reth you’re allowing a sentiment of ruthlesness to become the norm within your high ranks, and by default, trickling down to the rest of your people. Youre spiraling down a dark rabbit hole, and leading your people futher down that path. And by the time you try to turn around, back to the light where you came from, there will be too many obstacles, and Wolves, blocking your way.
