🤦♀️… well, atleast Rika (although a human) is there to stay with Harth if Tark is forced to part from her… perhaps circumstances will force Rika & Harth to bond (a positive)…. disappointingly, El continues to complicate circumstances more and more, displaying another devastating lack of empathic capacity - the ’collective male’ reaction in that room to her treatment of Zev is totally lost on her - and now she is putting Tark in a double bind situation - crushing to him - in a choice of competing duties between queen & mate … perhaps Gar or Aryn will step in and save him from the situation 🤞… 🙈🙈🙈

She tried to push past them, but with glances for confirmation from Tarkyn—who nodded to encourage them—the males, who were accustomed to their Queen's hot-headed nature, shuffled to keep themselves between her and the threat. I'm not saying I knew everything they did or were working on, but… Gar that means that Harth is from the future—at least, the future for me. It never even occurred to me that the Portals might cross time, but… Gar, she must be what they made after we defeated them! Three groups … the Anima, the Chimera, and “good” human … all traumatized by bad humans and now thrown together reacting to that trauma … I hope they will soon be helping each other heal from that shared trauma - this could be the best medicine if cooler heads can prevale snd stories be shared!
