I don’t understand anima sense of humor. That might be one of the worst parts of being in a new place with people of a different culture. when they joke and laugh, and you just stand there not getting it.

So they didnt even explain how to cover her scent? Lol they just left her hanging?!? Im just as confused as she is. She’s looking at them while they’re cracking up like, “i dont get it?”

lololol all I can picture in my head is my dog that has to sniff every 🐕 dogs butt walking in circles when he greets them and I'm rolling 😅 trying to imagine this poor girl having these beasts doing this to her lololol

What an interesting book.

I love how she just reached out to shake his hand - that shows confidence and warmth in the hardest of circumstances. It ends up in a joke but says a lot about Elia IMO.

I don't understand the last part of this chapter some of this makes no sense
