I understand why everyone is unhappy with her being the queen however they should have never brought her in in the first place. Unless there’s a supernatural reason like their gods demand it or something if they are from or know about the modern/human world then they should have long decided to not battle to the death or Atleast if they did,since I know it’s more than about a tradition since they have a very active beastly side because usually in these shifter stories the ml’s beast side usually likes the fl no matter what but this ml’s didn’t and saw her as cowardly and weak, they should have kept the innocent humans out of it while keeping the teaditions to themselves. Of course if this tradition didn’t do this we wouldn’t have a novel tho I guess she could have stumbled upon the ceremony a different way and accidentally killed or knocked out the Lycan chick.…that actually would have been pretty funny with everyone shocked and the fl like oops did I do that?🤣
