How disappointing. I sincerely hoped that the author would be able to come up with something interesting in the denouement with Shira. I thought that maybe she would change, or maybe her death would somehow hit Austin hard and he would understand that he was doing wrong by using her and that the end did not justify the means. But no. This is just nonsense. Why all these chapters with Shira, why do we need to show how sincerely she loves Austin, and then not care about all this? For what? Was it really so difficult for Austin to penetrate the territory of their clan himself, I mean, there was no one above level 10 there, and simply no one would have been able to notice him? This is just absolute trash. I hope the author never does this again.
