Why is this surprising?
Hey Draekai, Just saw this new comment after starting the novel and never read a FUTA novel before so I was hoping you clarify what it entails when there are other FUTA characters besides the MC? I.E is the MC going to get dicked? Not trying to start any drama, this is just me being ignorant of the genre. Many thanks in advance :)
To be honest I'm a fairly vanilla guy and I honestly just started reading this on a whim. It's also the first time reading anything from this author as well as this genre, but I was surprised how much I enjoyed this. The premises is about a guy from earth who transmigrates to a Space opera/sci-fi VMMORRPG after making a new female character. You can tell it was heavenly inspired by I Woke Up Piloting the Strongest Starship, so I Became a Space Mercenary so if you have read that, you'll enjoy this.
On top of all that, the Hero’s passives only make the girls fall in love with him, not the other way around so there is literally zero reason for the “hero” to sleep with the MC’s GF considering he was not compelled to do so. He CHOSE to go behind his back continuously with the MC’s GF, He CHOSE to hide the relationship from the MC. Absolute scumbag friend and the sooner the MC realised this, the better.
I just wish the MC would come to realise how little his “friend” thought of him. Putting the Hero’s passives aside, If they were best friends, and considering they had already had a conversation concerning the risk of MC’s GF potentially falling for the Hero due to his skills, there is no chance in hell the “Hero” would not of come clean straight away after the act if he felt true remorse. We get paragraphs about how they were “best friends” but when your best friend is sleeping with your GF behind your back for MONTHS and never takes the initiative to come clean, then surely you would realise how little they truely care for you.
I would like to have a civilised discussion with the author and will happily change my review to 5* if he can convince me this was not the case. If the “Hero” or his GF had any semblance of friendship or respect for the MC, they would of approached him In good faith and let him know what transpired, not hooking up in the “Hero’s” tent at night behind his back. Niether of them considered for an iota of his well-being be it mentally or emotionally and considered him an afterthought. The fact the no one in the capital has ever heard of him also suggests that they didn’t believe his contribution in slaying the demon king was worth mentioning alongside the other “hero’s” and his presence was irrelevant to the both the party and the outcome of the final battle.
Main characters get NTR'd. Author tries to play this of because of the hero's "passives" but instead of coming clean and telling the MC about it they continue to sneak around behind his back. Absolutely awful friend, If he had any respect or comradery with the MC he would have told him straight away. No justification whatsoever for his actions. 1 Star
For some reason I can't reply to the notification so i'll posit it here. Okay... please explain it to me. How did the MC's best friend care about him when he was sneaking around with his girlfriend behind his back and never considered his friends happiness, coming clean about the affair, or even suggest that they parted ways after the fact?
Despite a couple on instances where you have to ignore some illogical actions etc, the novels quite good. Though I am a little worried about the pacing that the and author trying to do to much to soon. For example, the main 6 characters are portrayed to be apart of the same friend group, but we don't see many instances where they hang out and build a repour and gain insight into there personalities and life goals, but instead we have multiple time skips where we are told that they hang out after school or at each others apartments but we rarely see it.
