Sorry, but I felt that scene was really forced. How did she know he was gone? And why would she assume he was in danger? And how does sleeping at his door "ensure his safety"? She came over at 9:30 to invite him to dinner. He refused/slammed the door in her face, and she went back to her apartment to have dinner (I assume), because she wasn't in the hallway when he left. So then what, sometime after dinner she goes back to knock on his door (why?) and when he doesn't answer she assumes he's gone? Or was she spying on him and saw him leave? And if so, so what? Why would he be in danger? But she sits down and in about 20 minutes she's asleep? It's only been an hour since she invited him, then had dinner. Dinner is barely over. There must have been a better way to show her worry/concern for him.
