I really want Cassius to be the ML. In her past life, Mari wasn't able to understand him and what he's been through that's why she couldn't get his love. She wasn't able to understand why he never touched nor loved her throughout their marriage. She'd never known about his wounds that was caused by his ex-wife. So in this life, I hope they get to know each other deeply and remove all of their misunderstandings/prejudices against each other.
dear author, i just have this thought for last two days... imagine that he died and come back to the past ,just like marianne did. but than he come back to the day that his mother want to take him to the thee party to meet Marianne..and than he knows the future and he choose her in stead of Elizabeth. Would that be great?? win win to all?
Hmmm honestly I don’t like Cassius, but not having him as the male lead would kind of just disrupt the story I guess. I think introducing another male lead would kind of make everything seem like a happy/ unrealistic story where a emotionally broken female lead falls in love with a man that saves her from her sufferings, and honestly I have been seeing those plot lines in almost every single web novel I read:( It would be a better story if Cassius and Marriane heal their wounds and become open to each other. However, Cassius actually has to try really hard to make up for the two lifetimes of suffering in order for Marriane to finally fall in love with him all over again. Also this way the title of this story really does connect with multiple characters as Cassius would have a second chance too. Finally, I really don’t want to Cassius to die. I know I said I didn’t like him, but his character is starting to rub off on me because of his POV stories. They really help:)
I think all of us are talking about Marriana&Cassius's tragedy but forgot all about Killian ...Had he known all about his mother 's betrayal or her family and what did they do to his father, Grandparents & Ian's family ?What would happen to him😢😭😭....And Don't forget about Marriana's promise to him to get him his mother's portrait...And also don't forget about the other characters too author especially the empress& Pillip ..
There are so much going on with the characters already & 100+ chapters. The background story is based on cassius. Though what I hate the most is the emotional pressure on Marriane due to Cassius stupidity, well everyone have their own way to cope with their emotional burden. Now I wonder which one is the villain, in a way cassius used to be the villain in Marianne story as Marriane used to be one in Killian life. Im sure if we look from the perspective of Elizabeth, the villain in her love story would be Cassius too. It’s just how someone respond to the situation that bring different ending to their story, either negatively & be the villain or like what Marriane are trying to do now, choosing different path. Love & hate, two sides of a coin. it is impossible to hate someone if u dont love them. If we dont like a person, most of the time we just dont care at all. Pity isn’t it? Frankly speaking I read this novel due to the title, everyone deserve that second chance. I hate cassius too when i dont know the details. He is the villain to me when i dont know the reasons why he act like that.
omg 😱😱 so Marriane is just a pawn and after Marianne's death on her last life, he confirmed that Isabella and her Father was the culprit with evidences ready. Too bad for Marriane 😢😢 maybe that's why The duke didn't watch her till the end in her last life because he felt guilty of loosing Marriane as his pawn just to catch the culprits 😢😢
I don't want Cassius to die, they may or may not end up together, but don't kill him, please!! and I don't believe that Marianne had stopped loving Cassius. She tries to become strong in front of him, but her obvious outburst and tears gives away her true feelings. Her strong hatred towards him is the proof itself. For strong hatred, there must be strong affection too. So I don't want him to die, it would be cruel for Marianne too!! Marianne is going to start her business, she should grow up successful in her career, regain her self confidence as a woman and individual, and with her bring happiness and positive growth for Killian too!! That would be the best outcome from this second chance.
Hello, Oh no, don't kill him!!! Personnally, I'm hoping for their happy ending together with their son killian. Mariane had a second chance, so it is only fair for Cassius to have his, specially knowing what Mariane did is worse then what Cassius did. You did too good on the job of explaining Cassius side XD. So please please don't kill him. Ps: I'm in love with this book. Loving your writting Dear author.
I don't want Cassius to die... I mean I know did some terrible mistakes but but it was his way to keep her away from trouble and to keep her inocence intact although it was a stupid way to do so... but he also deserve a second chance... Marianne got a second chance even after all the stupid and cruel things she did... she had to die to realise her wrongdoings, atleast Cassius realised his mistakes in this life only... she was stupid in her previous life to think she can seduce a heartbroken man... if only she had tried to give him some time and tried to understand him and heal his wounds .. than maybe the outcome would be different.
