I’ve never been betrayed and I hope I never am, but for some reason I have the hardest time dealing with this situation in the stories I read. Maybe I’m just emotionally weak but I’d rather hear about it as a flash back or some other indirect way... I don’t like reading it first person. It’s funny, I love revenge themed stories. Seeing ‘evil’ receive retribution, be it vigilante justice or some cosmic karma, watching as punishment is dealt out to the ‘bad guy’ brings me a strange sense of satisfaction. I understand cause and effect, but some damage can’t realistically be undone. 🔙🔘we need a back button
