Someone told me the MC was a coward. I thought no that's definitely not right. Fearing death does not make someone a coward. Fear is your bodies natural response to not wanting to die. I think It's cool to lack fear but at the same time I say those that have no fear of death have defective bodies. Because there bodies aren't trying to keep them alive. Later on in the story the MCs bravery will develop. But for right now he still has the mindset of a normal person from our world. I already know people are going to say MC is a powerful Mollag/Deathclaw so why is he acting like this. But again I say to those that say this. That will be fixed later with character development. But MC isn't going to have a steel will from the start of the story. An amazing sword is forged through patience and it doesn't cut very well before you sharpen it. Even if the material it's made of is strong.
Everybody fears death. Its unavoidable even for so called immortal beings we read in stories. No matter how unkillable they seem death never misses its target in the end. In my opinion the problem with the MC is the reality of the situation has not fully settled in. He subconsciously thinks and acts like a moder day human in some ways. I hope that crushing reality check will set him straight.
