If you payed attention the moment he said father pls stop when he was being beat Gerald stoped this means that there probably a reason.plus he kept signing when he saw van so there has to be a reason It doesn’t come off as a idiot flaunting his power it feels like there is a story behind it anyway I’ll wait and see

Gerald literally killed mc and put him through mind breaking pain tbh it'd make more sense for mc to have atleast some type of revenge (it's obvious mc isn't his first victim either so mcs justified in doing whatever he wants to him then sending his soul to its eternal punishment)
