Honestly, at some point, you need to start selling books. If you have not already. You have the talent for it, you have fans. I sell my own Sci-Fi series and I am still new to it. I have fans, but I am working on getting more. But you stories and talents are great for making a series that can keep people hooked and buying more books.
Again, the dialogue here is legendary. I respect this because I like to write more dialogue-driven stories. But the genre of my stories is different so, they need to have more description because they are fantasies and sci-fi works. Straying back on topic, I love the realism, relatablility, and dialogue in this story. But it also makes me angry and sad to hear how they are mistreated. Nothing wrong with that though, you want to have an impact on readers and you want it to feel realistic. Life can be tough and life can be disappointing. But you just keep fighting and fighting until you get the best solution and a better life. Never perfect, but you just know things will get better if you keep trying even when all reason seems to say otherwise. And eventually, you fight and pave your way to a brighter day.
