I like the fact that the author can change from an action/to action in the match to a more overview of key moments. It feels it is really necesary to do this correctly for the novel . Some moments you need to feel zach's tension like you're there and some others an overview of the match is enough.

If there is one thing about this story I'm enlightened about, its the hectic scheduling of games and training. Granting the story does not go into detail with it, but its clear as to the large amount of behind the scenes logistics & coordination that goes into ensuring all gets done efficiently to let the other people do what they do. I even ended up checking out the hotel they stayed at, though temp closed the place looks pretty good.
