Why do people deem him useless if he has such high attainments in sword art? The highest on the continent apparently as well. Couldn’t he be used to train apprentices or guide people in the way of the sword regardless of being a cripple? How is that useless?

What do I think about the princess? Hella naive and entitled, and she already has hots for Damien because of his "eyes"... Yes, add her to the harem pls.

The prose is occasionally clunky, as is the dialog specifically. The story, however, is great. It could use some polishing, maybe even a lot of polishing, but it's still thoroughly enjoyable.
