That sounds so dam creepy compared to the manga. Having two pair of eyes actually connected to the nerves of your eye socket. And to fit two eyes per socket I image they aren't inside teh socket or the socket was expanded otherwise the eyeballs will burst.

Well, this fusing idea is kinda stupid. There's no way in two eyeballs can fit. Eye gauging is fighting technique where you slightly push the eyes to the socket. Slightly because one eye can barely fit in there. You could've made a technique where you turn the eye into pure chakra and inserted it. You could've transplant the Irises over the the Iris of the other eye. You could've extract the chakra of the other eye to the other one. You could've done a lot of things. But you got the idea of pushing two eyeballs in one socket. Really?? Ugh, idk anymore... Let's just chalk it up to plot armor.
