Grandfather is not bad. I think he is just hide his pain for lossing his daughter. I bet he wanted Trin be strong and not happen the same like her mom. He wanted to make her strong and prepared to whatever come her way. And he did. Just a little to strict. But he will come around with open arms, right?

I'd like to know more about her grandfather and why he raised the way he did. Reece and Trinity should have talk with him to understand. It might answer a lot of questions

This is getting a little unrealistic. Most mothers arent going to side against their sons. And the criticism is ridiculous. Interpreting what he said as a negative comment is just dramatic and petty. His comment in no way suggests he doesnt think it’s a good idea.

Hard work, laughter, joy, and giggles are needed in every relationship. I like this book so far.
