Plot holes everywhere. 1st you said he's practically thousands of year old with hundreds of thousand of skills.then couldn't he pick the most suitable skill in his current situation without jeopardizing himself? For an old ghost he's pretty slow for the uptake. 2nd after solving his current predicament and also remembering that this will lead to the downfall of his mother the logical action should be to call his mother to tell that he's ok right? Instead he chose to book a hotel room and chose to prioritize cultivation? 3rd how the fck did he end up in the wrong room just by switching the room number doesnt mean you can use different key card right? 4th again he's an old coot but still got himself in a position where he's 'helpless' against a drugged woman? ClichΓ© sucks right?
sholo_bolo:I disagree with all of your points. He is too weak to use most of his skills right now, he's only a normal human right now. he ran out of energy after using those mind control and concealment ability so he is very weak right now which is why the girl could overpower him now. And he used his last bit of energy to forcefully open the door because the card won't open it. He literally has no energy to call his mom and, she would call him first if she got a call about kidnapping so all your points are not right.
This man must be a pinnacle of pinnacles genius. Not because he traveled back through time. Not because he knows thousands of techniques. Not because he escaped a kidnapping with nothing but his mortal body. No, this man is an otherworldly genius because after thousands of years he still remembered the pin number for his old credit card. As a mere mortal I can forget after a week or two of not using it. With such prodigious talent and skill I can only admit my inferiority.
