Shen-fei was ******** lol I feel like Su Xueyi deserved that kind of ending. It's such a pity Xi Zirui had to die too 😭😭😭 I can't imagine how heartbroken Han Yu was during the rest of his life 😭😭😭 Maybe he didn't even understand why and how his Zirui died. My guess is on a very technological world, like a sci-fi background. Thank you so much for the chapter! 🥰
I got to this point and I've taken a few minutes to reflect on it. I'm in a bit of an angst phase lately with my media, so I've been thinking about this kind of stuff. in the end, I get this ending too. because that, as stupid, and pointless... and empty as an ending like this would be for us in real life, it is so much real life. just as we're on the cusp of "breaking the system" and getting ready to experience the life that is entirely what we're looking for... something happens. we "don't wake up" or ... well, in my case, you have a fight with a roommate and wake up in a hospital bed after a car accident. just when it seems like everything is going to get so much better, it all crumbles in your hands! so... I'm really into these kind of... dark, but entirely possible, endings. I respect this ending too. we want the best and we anticipate it, but then suddenly we have a tbi and no memories, and everything we had is gone. I like this ending very much too, because it's very realistic. I can't wait to get caught up on this one! I'm very interested in every chapter I open up.
