What about the cult he began at the beginning of the book when he was forced to stop slaughtering the ice giants and put his name on the norse mythology? There was no update on it it would be funny that it come to bite him in the ass later or a saint war begin because of it.

Theres no way he can make the timeline “proper” with am entire new schism in christianity. its probably best to let certain things change but just focus more on 20th centruy being mostly canon
