Felt kinda rush and cliche, but it for progress.

really just going down the edgy cliche checklist at this point, huh? As always i will say, dead parents cliche is the worst one to plague both new writers and stories in general. its cheap and lazy and generally serves no true purpose in the story that they author couldn't write around with just a bit of effort. like am i supposed to care for two people that only got introduced a chapter or two ago and were only created to die? it's forced and bad. i get it. dead parents mean you can make your child protag go out and do fun and stupid things without someone breathing down their neck. its still just insulting tho. luckily it's happened often at this point it isn't enough to drop a story but it will lower any review score i give.
