The saying goes, "The truth shall set you free!" I guess it was time that the King gets to hear, he was wrong back then. A heart-felt apology will have changed everything for him and his family. However, he was just to stubborn and wouldn't lower himself for a moment. The curse was all his fault, he just didn't want to admit it.
