What if Ellena became the witch? That might explain why the witch can’t be found. Maybe the witch was old and needed a younger body and Ellena agreed. Just a thought.

If they went to Wintermere, this is how Ellena got to meet Emmelyn's brother. I'm sure she had to stop off at their house to find where the witch is located. Maybe they helped hide her brother too!

Maybe Tilda was killed by Ellena and the witch who was so old, died because of old aged. Ellena became the witch apprentice after she worked for her and the training took some time until the witch died. Then Ellena made her way home and tried to get to Mars but unfortunately Mars and M already connected. How's that??
