I have a question. Why does Noah, who supposedly used his brains to survive, sneaks around with only a knife? No traps, no decoys, no lures, no other clever ways to fight. He simply fought the same way others did. The best way to compare it is that he thinks he's a wizard, when in reality he's a rogue who fights like a warrior, without rogue tricks. He sneaks, finds a single rat, and then fights like everyone else with a knife... No dirty or imaginative tricks or anything to show that he really survived because of his intelligence. Right now he appears smart just because everyone else is dumbed down. So what if they have powers, if 50% of people die in the first few years, I would not put my ass on the line just to feel cocky. Besides, even if they did have teenager braindead syndrome, their parents would kick their asses in shape. It almost seems like the people of the world do not care if their kids die. The writers had surrounded MC with stupid, unreal teenagers just to make him seem smarter and more *****. At this point, our world has more safety precautions when climbing mountains than in that world have when dungeon diving. Author, just because MC is the smartest person among dumb people, doesn't make us readers think MC is smart. It only makes MC a king of monkeys.
