It's not The Plot that's' hard to understand . It's the writing of The Plot that's hard to understand because some things make no sense . For example , the MC is sitting in His Castle(I'm talking about this chapter) staring at his murderous ex-girlfriend's grave? when suddenly, an Unknown Entity that doesn't even speak his language comes and beckons the MC to follow him and HE FOLLOWS . What would be logical is to RECONVENE with his BUDDIES AND MOM to talk SENSE in a SAFE PLACE(E.G throne room or dream lake or something). What we get is MC following an unidentified intruder .

That's understandable; there is a lot to take in. Jake's realm (Brockwing Vale) is under attack by everyone wishing to stake a claim; some were friends, and others, strangers. And this subplot, among many others, will continue throughout the story. Like I said, there are a lot of moving parts to the story, with a complex plot that spans multiple realms, so if there's anything specific you don't understand, I'll do my best to explain it.
