Yeah another one of these nationalist rants just to pad word count and praise the motherland... Maybe I'm too cynical but why the fúck would he want anything do with an organization that his parents died for yet he and his sister were simply abandoned to starve and suffer? Imagine if he weren't a reincarnator but a real child where he and his sister would be now?
So now that he can fend for himself, they appear? Where were they when kids od 8 and 6 years were sick, hungry and cold? No visits then? Pfft.. Only Uncle and Aunt next door were there and not all the time.. Not to mention that is inconceivable for me that such small children weren't placed in an orphanage or foster care especially since they're the children of the guards...
this is so fucking dumb. this guy has been suffering for 7 years then when he almost died now these so called acquaintance begun appearing and giving stuffs like really why even bother at this point and also the mcs parent are members of this so called spirit guards that protects the people yet they didnt receive shit as compensation when the two died then why do people even bother joining the military if their family became miserable if something happened.
Pretty sure aunt Zhang and uncle Li knew the dead parents and thus took over and acted like semi-guardians for the siblings. Remember how aunt Zhang tried to sneak money to him? They have probably tried supporting the siblings first openly and later in all sorts of ways for years, but author gave Lin Yuan such a stupid mindset that receiving help/charity is immoral.. These two new 'uncle and aunt' might have recently taken over the semi-guardian role and thus started trying to help. - That's how I try to justify all of these exasperating parts of the story, to keep reading further without too much bias.
