As a moderately high ranking person in the Nephilim faction, who clearly know at least that Emery is a half-blood and from a lower realm, surely knows his battle strength, apothecary skills etc.
I don't remember what was the name of Emery's daughter, but it would be funny if she came under the pseudonym Miranda, running away from the family to find him out something, although the affinities are passed down I think and she would be more talented than some Miranda.
