Honestly, I think it's both. Kami's pregnant again and Lith is starting to wake up. I don't think just one of those things can protect Kami, due to the utter disparity between both of them

Kami will end up forgiving him, if she lives. Elysia, on the other hand... this is how rifts in relationships form; child trauma

Have the entire family roll through this shock therapy, to weaken Derek's defenses, then bring Kamila and Elysia in to deal the death blow. At which point, they remind Derek that Solus is still out there waiting for him. Derek turns to Lith, and Lith goes on the warpath with Tezka's help

I feel like the Organization is going to end up finding out where Solus went and going after her themselves, while Lith/Derek is going to wander the world for a bit. The only problem is everybody knows who he is. Thank God he hasn't hit a more populated zone, but I do wonder how many magical beasts we're on that mountain

Lith's story may come to an end at some point, but if there aren't immediate sequels of Lith's children, or at least epilogues, then you might have a fight on your hands Legion lol

For their sake, it better be a lifeless clone. Emery already lost Silva, but now his daughter as well? The snakes are about to find out why Emery is such a menace. For the sake of argument though, Shinta has to be alive somewhere, otherwise there would be no reason to prepare a trap in the prison.

Emery is a Royal Twilight Fey, a rank 9 bloodline, and the Silvermanes owe him. It doesn't surprise me if Emery called in some favors to have Shinta's status in contention

Now, Emery has to bring back Shinta, and also advance Hall 120 to the Higher Halls. No pressure lol

Honestly, with Emery's lineage and apothecary skills, along with Uncle Bob, he is probably the best chance Shinta has of maintain her dual bloodline nature

Lith and Kamila are going to have another kid if they aren't careful lol

My comment from the previous chapter stands. Emery fighting against grand magus is a next tier event, so they should be fleshed out a little. As far as the fight goes, I think Emery would lose, but if he tells the secret of Shinta's heritage, then the shock would most likely throw GM Aticka off guard. At this point, I think it's still safe to say that very few people are in-the-know on that

Honestly, I can't recall how many grand magus he fought against by himself or didn't already have a severe handicap with, besides Mo Yan and some pirates. But that's even a stretch with Mo Yan since he wasn't really a physical fighter. The fight didn't need to be drawn out, because I don't like that either, but regular magus are a dime a dozen now. Grand Magus should still give him a challenge

A good extension to this chapter would've been how Emery took on magus and grand magus guards all at once. Obviously Emery has a lot in his arsenal, but he's still one step below grand magus. Someone has to give him a good challenge
