I wonder when Ouroboros will bring to light all the things they've kept from Emery. I am sure this Nanny business will not get to him..at least not anytime soon and he will still be feeling bad for letting Annara down

I have an unpopular opinion that Annara's release is unfair & wrong. I am of the opinion that there must be consequences for every action taken. Annara boycotting her punishment feels very wrong in more than 1 way. Does she feel remorse? yes she does, Is she a better person now? yes she is but that doesn't excuse the fact that she took the life of another acolyte like herself & don't tell me she was forced to do it because Emery was also threatened but he still didn't do it; so that's no excuse. She should have completed her punishment anyways.

Hmmm...... to be fair i don't understand what just happened here. Did the Harlight clan allow her to be taken by the Serpent clan cause they think they're going to make her suffer or something? If not, what was it the Ouroboros queen offered them that they're able to overlook the death of their heir because it doesn't make sense to me
