I liked it. It gave me a few tears from time to time. As to where they may live, Europa may be a possibility. We already suspect in our time that there is life on Jupiter's moon. Mars is one of the objectives of Earth in the 21st century, so that's definitely out. Venus could be possible, if you want to keep everything closer to Earth.

I hope she has new descendents in the future to revive the wizard race.

Couldn't he revive some of the wizards with the eternal flames he has one at a time to revive the fallen race? It seems to me that would be something Gaia would love not to mention possible now that those souls are free.
