I’m just a student and can’t help you monetarily, but I do feel with you. I live in Switzerland and am into geopolitics as one of my (many (/vew-acitve)) interests. I myself am frustrated by the way a lot of people act as if the world economy is as good as ever, [see my comment on this one to see problems big crisi at the moment] I myself had my parents break up with me having just turned 18 having a lot of willpower helps manage, but it essentially splits our 7 headed family, with my 2 brothers being forced to live with dad due to not being capable of changing shools intekantonal (interregional) with their chosen subjects. My dad earns good, but is unable to confront himself or force himself to a psychologist. As such when my mother told him she wasn’t entirely happy and would like to talk more often to think of solutions, having some suspicions about an affair he had whilst he was working in china for business, he started to distance himself a year or to later. This was shown by him needing space for himself and a seperate room he paid with savings that were supposed to be used on a world trip, the wish of my mother for 2024. Now she has years of time lost due to being a dedicated mother, she herself as an insecure future, more so when becoming elderly. At least due to europe prefering 'social market economy' instead of 'free market economy' will leave her with some uncertain net, but it’ll be difficult. Being dutch originally and having high prices here may force her out of here, her dreams to help and live with others (africa) drowing with this tide.
